It was a season like no other: The outdoor pools in the southern Bad Tölz district were only allowed to open this year under Corona conditions.

Your balance sheet: Everything went smoothly.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

- Even if there are still a few sunny and warm days ahead in the Tölzer Land, summer is slowly coming to an end.

The first outdoor pools have already closed their doors again.

Time to take stock.

On September 8th you could swim your laps in the Tölz outdoor pool in Eichmühle for the last time this season.

Despite all Corona requirements and restrictions, Reinhard Oberleitner from Tölzer Stadtwerke - they run the bathroom - is quite satisfied.

“With a view to the corresponding requirements that we had this year, the season went well,” he sums up.

In the “Oach” there were “almost no problems with the implementation of the distance and mask control”.

Admission was limited to 1000 visitors.

“But we weren't busy on any day.

The maximum were 700 bathers, ”says Oberleitner.

It was noticed that some were reluctant to visit the outdoor pool, or that the requirements were too uncomfortable for a relaxing day at the pool.

"It was less strictly regulated at lakes or the Isar," says Oberleitner.

Far fewer young people than usual come to the Eichmühle outdoor pool in Bad Tölz

Above all, the groups of young people who otherwise populate the Eichmühle were significantly fewer this year.

“We couldn't offer some of our standard range.

For example, we couldn't open the beach volleyball fields, ”he explains.

Nevertheless, many regular guests and families with children often came to splash around.

Gitti Pirchmoser, co-operator of the Arzacher outdoor pool, is still open.

“We're quite flexible here and at the end of the season we adapt to the weather.

As long as it's still beautiful, we're open, ”she says.

In her privately operated bathroom, too, the season “went well under the circumstances”.

However, she often had to impose an intermittent admission stop, since only a limited number of people are allowed to stay in the outdoor pool in Arzbach.

"But mainly regular guests and locals come to us who knew how it works, were very understanding and consistently adhered to the conditions."

"No big problems" with hygiene rules in the alpine warm bath Benediktbeuern

Due to the good weather, the Benediktbeurer Alpine Warming Pool was open beyond the end of the holiday until yesterday, Sunday.

"A lot of guests" always came on hot days, as long-time employee Roswitha Hirschinger told our newspaper when asked.

The tickets for the two fixed bathing times had to be booked online in advance.

There were "no major problems" with compliance with the hygiene regulations.

You can still swim in the natural outdoor pool in Bichl.

Due to the late summer temperatures, the community has decided to keep the facility open until Tuesday, September 15th.

In general, the swimming offer in the Loisachtal community has been "well received", says Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher.

On average, however, significantly fewer guests came to the natural swimming pool than in previous years.

"But that is mainly due to the very late start of the season," believes Pössenbacher.

For personnel reasons, the Lenggries natural open-air swimming pool ended the summer season a week ago, according to a press release from the municipality.

However, this does not automatically stop swimming in the Isarwinkel.

Because the Isarwelle family pool has reopened seamlessly since September 7th after a long corona break.
