Tartous-Sana
The Tartous fire brigade extinguished six fires, which broke out today in separate areas of the governorate.
Colonel Samir Shamma, commander of the governorate's fire brigade, told SANA that the fires broke out in the villages of Husayn Al-Bahr and Al-Jouba at the Wadi Al-Shater neighborhood junction and another near the Amrit tourist area at the Rum Al-Dahab junction and the chalets of the tourism pioneers in Al-Muntar region and a garbage fire in the industrial zone, and these areas are located south of the city Tartous, in addition to a fire on the Tartous-Baniyas highway near the Holiday Beach Resort.
Shamma pointed out that most of the fires are herbs and trees, with the exception of the fire in the village of Al-Jouba, which occurred in a wooded land with olives, adding that these fires were simple and limited in area and did not leave any traces. The size and number of fires in this period
