(CNN) -

The death of Breonna Taylor, who was shot to death in her Louisville, Kentucky home, occurred exactly six months ago.

Since then, no charges have been brought against any of the three officers involved in the March 13 shooting.

Two of the officers remain with the police.

The third was fired and appealed to get his job back.

An investigative jury met Wednesday to investigate the shooting and ultimately decide the fate of the three police officers.

The grand jury will meet at an alternate location due to safety concerns due to the ongoing protests in Jefferson Square Park, which has been informally renamed "Breonna Taylor Park."

However, Taylor's family, activists and celebrities have not let the world forget Taylor's name.

His death contributed to the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement with Taylor and other black victims of police violence, such as George Floyd, becoming the faces of the movement.

The investigation into the death of Breonna Taylor

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who is leading the investigation into Taylor's death, tweeted that "the rumors and conflicting reports" circulating daily about the investigation do nothing to "promote justice."

"When the investigation is complete and a decision is made, we will provide an announcement update," Cameron wrote.

“The news will come from our office and not from anonymous sources.

Until then, the investigation is ongoing. '

Tamika L. Palmer, Taylor's mother, took to Cameron on Instagram Thursday and asked what her mother would think if he were the one killed by police.

"If you ask him, he will tell you without hesitation that he would stop at nothing to protect you," says Palmer's post.

She would be willing to give her life to save yours.

If you were shot in your own home, wouldn't you demand that the killers be brought to justice?

… Do you have the power and courage to call my son yours? The power to see that my cry and that of my community are heard? And the power as part of a village that raises our children to do the right thing for one of our daughters? ».

Activists, athletes and celebrities honor Taylor

Until Freedom, a New York City-based social justice organization, live-streamed 26 hours of prayer for Taylor on Sunday.

"We are at our highest when we are connected to spirit guidance," Tamika Mallory, one of the organization's co-founders, told CNN.

"Some people are not protesters but they are in touch with their spirituality, so we are trying to provide an opportunity for all people to participate in the fight for justice for Breonna Taylor."

When the NFL season fully began on Sunday, many players and coaches wore clothing bearing Taylor's name or image.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton wore a "Breonna Taylor" mask, the team tweeted.

Los Angeles Rams players wore "Black Lives Matter" jerseys with photos of different victims of police violence, including Taylor, George Floyd and Tamir Rice, the team tweeted.

British racing driver Lewis Hamilton wore a T-shirt that read "ARREST THE POLICE WHO KILLED BREONNA TAYLOR" written across the front and "SAY YOUR NAME" above a photo of Taylor on the back.

He wore the jersey before the Tuscan Grand Prix race in Mugello, Italy on Sunday and during the podium ceremony.

Singer Mariah Carey also wore a similar t-shirt and posted the photos on her Twitter and Instagram.

"Medical workers like her save lives every day, but police violence claims black lives at almost the same rate," Carey's message read.

Her death especially hurts right now.

Now, more than ever, we have to be connected and vigilant.

CNN's Susannah Cullinane, Christina Carrega and Faith Karimi contributed to this report.
