Citizens' initiatives and environmental organizations have started an action to protect trees in neuried.
Neuried– The trees demonstrate.
They are systemically important.
And now as many people as possible should be reminded of this.
Yesterday the initiative “Wald Neuried Receiving” handed them posters on the Neuried market square.
For example, it says “I belong to a risk group”, “We are rooted, you have to move” and “What do you breathe without trees?”.
As reported, “Neuried Forest Preservation” has been trying to preserve the Kasten forest for some time and is trying to avert gravel mining planned there.
To achieve this, the initiative always works with others.
Behind the demonstration of the trees are now a total of eleven organizations, including Greenpeace, Fridays for Future, Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald, Grünzug Netzwerk Würmtal and Bund Naturschutz.
The action should last until mid-October
The trees around the Neuried market square should bear the signs by mid-October.
But maybe the action will be shortened.
The message of the trees should be carried as far as possible.
And the demand for the signs is great.
“We had inquiries from Bad Tölz, Fürstenfeldbruck and even Tyrol,” says Malwina Andrassy, one of the organizers.
If there was a request from the Munich area, a demo would be inserted there.
The intention of the campaign is to make people who walk past a tree aware of its systemic relevance.

Last Saturday and Sunday, the trees demonstrated for two hours each in the state capital.
The success gave the organizers courage.
Many passers-by were enthusiastic.
“We received great praise,” says Malwina Andrassy.
For six months she and her colleagues had worked to ensure that the trees could now demonstrate.
