Two explosions target convoys of the American forces in Iraq

Two explosions with two explosive devices targeted convoys of the American forces in Iraq.

A security media cell statement, of which the SANA reporter in Baghdad received a copy, stated that convoys of transporting "international coalition" equipment retreating from Iraq were today exposed to two explosive devices without causing any casualties.

The statement added that the first explosion was on the highway near the poultry fields under the responsibility of the Diwaniyah governorate police, and the second was on the highway within the limits of the responsibility of the Babil Governorate police.

The day before yesterday, an explosive device explosion targeted a convoy of the American forces in Salah al-Din, central Iraq.
