Another scandal in the education system in Kfar Saba about a week after the storm of captions that encourage rape in high schools in the city: A student from Katznelson High School presented yesterday (Monday) a picture of a male genitalia during his class' zoom class.

The incident occurred yesterday (Monday) during an English class for twelfth grade conducted through the zoom. After the picture in question was displayed on the screen, the teacher stopped the class. The school administration is examining the continued existence of the classes online.

The school principal wrote to the parents following the incident: "Unfortunately for the rabbi, a particularly unusual event occurred today. During an English class in the twelfth grade, a class that took place from a distance in Zoom.

During the event, for a few seconds, someone showed a male genitalia on the screen.

The teacher apologized for the incident and stopped the lesson.

This is a serious act that crosses borders in an extreme way and harms the sense of protection of all the participants in the lesson.

"We do not know who committed this serious and blatant act which is an expression of sexual harassment for all intents and purposes. Of the school administration and clear and sharp boundaries, which unfortunately have been crossed recently.

“Although teachers are entering online lessons through secure entry this unfortunate incident has happened and we will also be checking the security for lessons and refreshing required instructions for all staff.

"I especially ask the parents of the students in the twelfth grade to talk to your children, especially the students who attended the class.

The conversation should be in two aspects: involvement or knowledge of the event, its planning or those involved in it, and their feelings following the incident.

Tomorrow we will consider and consider continuing the English studies of this group for the time being. "

The Kfar Saba municipality commented on the details: "This is a serious incident, which has been thoroughly investigated by the school administration and will be handled accordingly."

As you may recall, about a week ago a storm arose following documentation of captions encouraging rape found in the premises of two high schools in Kfar Saba.

In one of these educational institutions, twelfth-grade students prepared signs for the opening of the school year, in one of which they wrote: "Ayia Napa - 12, Eilat - 30, 12-year-olds - 100."

The caption echoes two shocking cases: the first took place in Eilat last month and recently an indictment was filed against young people involved in the rape, and the second case occurred last year on the island of Ayia Napa in Greece, when young Israelis were arrested on suspicion of raping a British tourist.

One of the signs read: "Silence = consent" and another illustration allegedly depicted a 10th grader, with dozens of rectangles in front of her, symbolizing twelfth grade students. In another high school, this graffiti was found:

Following the publications, the chairman of the municipal parents' leadership, Yuval Kadosh, said at the time: "Today, the culture of rape has raised its ugly head here as well, and our youth is not free from the sick evil that pervades Israeli society.

It's time to put an end to this.

It is time that we, the parents, know how to draw a line for our children and declare emphatically: not in our school.

It begins with a comprehensive and thorough clarification of the circumstances of the act, and continues, as far as is appropriate, with significant punishment against those who spray-painted the ugly address, and all this along with extensive publicity in urban high schools. "
