The chairman of the World Likud was elected by a conference consisting of Israeli delegates elected by the center's members, and international delegates elected by members of the Likud's branches abroad.

Zohar won first place in the elections held in July for the election of the Israeli delegates, but today a vote of the international delegates was held;
