Feminists perform "antigrita" in protest of gender violence in Mexico | Video | CNN

Members of feminist collectives carried out the peaceful "antigrita" protest to remember the gender violence in Mexico and the lack of justice in cases of femicides.

The event was held hours before the Cry of Independence, which takes place every September 15 in the country.

The participants say that state institutions do not support them, although the National Human Rights Commission said it is open to dialogue.
