Rihanna is saying goodbye to her luxurious London home and it could be all yours… if you have $ 41 million to spare.
The Barbados-born superstar has been renting the north London mansion since 2018, but the house is now up for sale, allowing fans to take an unusual look at their home.
Built in the 1800s, the eight-bedroom home in the expensive St. John's Wood district covers nearly 590 square feet and features a gym, private elevator, and movie theater.
Its starting price of 32 million pounds ($ 41 million) also ensures ample spaces to live and eat, as well as a parking lot for 10 cars.
The man who helped Rihanna rent the property and is now selling it, Michael Sulkin of real estate agent Aston Chase, told CNN: "This is a very unique house, it is something extraordinary."
Rihanna kept her privacy
Sulkin said the private nature of the property was important to the singer.
"In most of the houses she saw you could see straight through them," she said, but her eventual home was "completely isolated," giving her the privacy she needs.
The singer's London residence was relatively unknown for a long time, but when her keen-eyed followers saw a bag from a local supermarket on one of her Instagram stories last year they took to social media to express their joy.
"Finally a celebrity has a bag that I can afford to have too," wrote an excited fan.
Another jokingly labeled her "one of the people."
In contrast to many celebrities, who live their lives in the spotlight of the paparazzi, Rihanna tried to lead a much more normal life in London, says Sulkin.
"She was there for quite a long time, I don't think most people didn't even know she lived there," he told CNN.
Fans, meanwhile, will be hoping that Rihanna's move heralds a new phase and that she finally break her four-year hiatus and release her long-awaited ninth studio album.
