Today, the Russian-Syrian Business Council distributed 55 tons of foodstuffs to families affected by the war and the families of the martyrs and the wounded in the Salamiyah area in the eastern Hama countryside.
The Chairman of the Council, Dr. Luay Yusef, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that this two-day event, which is held under the title “To Salamiyah City… With Love From Russia,” comes within a series of regular humanitarian charitable activities and continues until the end of this year and includes several Syrian governorates, indicating that 1000 have been distributed. A food basket in the Salamiyah area, one weighing 55 kilograms of basic foodstuffs.
It is noteworthy that the Russian-Syrian Business Council distributes the aid under the direction of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supports the Russian Federal Agency for International Cooperation “Rus Satrodnichestva” in partnership with the Russian Association to develop friendship and business relations with Syria.
