Beneficiaries in the United States of Temporary Protected Status (TPS, for its acronym in English) should be attentive to the latest court ruling in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals based in San Francisco, which considered that the government of Donald Trump has the power to terminate the program.
However, the magistrates who approved it assured not to support Trump's offensive statements towards the countries of origin of those protected by TPS.
It is not a final resolution, since it must still be approved by the plenary session of that Court and later by the Supreme Court.
