It will be presented to the Administrative, Finance and Social Committee in a closed session on Wednesday.
There - at least according to the agenda - a decision about the implementation of the "ice fairy tale" should be made behind closed doors.
According to Korpan, the district office was also asked for an opinion on the concept.
He hopes to have it by Wednesday.
Originally, the Penzberg city council had already decided on a new edition of the “ice fairy tale” last January.
At that time, however, Corona was still far away.

According to Korpan, the concept provides, for example, that the city square area is fenced in to limit the flow of visitors.
According to him, the number of visitors to the square - not just on the ice - should be limited to 250.
A security service should control the access.
According to Korpan, consideration had also been given to creating two separate entrances to the ice rink and the delicacy market.
However, this is difficult to implement because ice skaters also want to go to the stands and then have to take a detour.

Otherwise, according to the mayor, a 600 square meter ice rink would be built, as last year.
According to him, the start would be the first weekend in Advent and the end on the last holiday weekend in January.
When it comes to opening times, the city wants to at least orient itself to last year.

Only recently had the culture committee in Wolfratshausen decided to allow the "Ice Age" there to take place again.
The ice rink on the old raft landing in Wolfratshausen has been open in winter for three years.
Last winter there were 7570 ice skaters.
The Penzberg “Ice Fairy Tale” has been around since winter 2014/2015.
Last December and January, over 17,300 ice skaters were counted during the 37 days.
On average there were 469 ice skaters a day, a record.
