The prosecutor of Versailles, Maryvonne Caillibotte, spoke this Wednesday evening at the courthouse, to respond to the accusations brought against her by the collective "Truth for Adama" and their lawyer Yassine Bouzrou.
Charges falling within the framework of the drowning Sunday evening in Bougival de Mahamadou Fofana, while the latter was pursued by a police patrol, who suspected him of having stolen motorcycles in Marly-le-Roi.
Gathered a little earlier in Garches (Hauts-de-Seine) in front of the Forensic Institute where Mahamadou's body was autopsied, the collective, notably through the voice of Assa Traoré, cousin of the victim, accuses Maryvonne Caillibotte to be "partial and partial", even calling for its "relinquishment".
Yesterday evening Mahamadou lost his life during a police intervention, the police explained that he threw himself into the seine to escape them and drowned.
His sister does not believe the police version and calls for witnesses.

It is all completely transparent.
The family say the victim was a good family man and obviously he is.
This point is not disputed but a good father can also be a thief and have problems with the law.
I understand that for the family these are painful things to hear.
But for the prosecutor that I am, it is a question of truth and honesty.
I give factual elements about his personality.
Some denounce an obscure climate that prevents knowing the truth about the death of this young man, what do you say to that?
The Versailles prosecution makes no opposition to the family's desire for the truth of what happened that evening.
And our investigation is intended to shed light on the facts.
Nothing is obscure or concealed in this matter.
But the truth cannot be stated now because we are not yet in a position to do so.
We are also going to open a judicial investigation to search for the causes of death, so that an investigating judge can continue the investigations.
