The General Electricity Company of Homs today completed the work of improving the capacity of the Hasan Al-Kurdi Transfer Center in Al-Sabil neighborhood from (630 KVA) to (1000 KVA) at a cost of about 20 million Syrian Pounds.
The general manager of the company, Eng. Saleh Omran, stated in a statement to SANA that improving the capacity of the Hasan Al-Kurdi Transfer Center aims to reduce electrical faults, especially in the winter season, indicating that the new transmission center contributes to improving the electrical situation in several areas, including Zubair bin Abdul Muttalib Street and near a school Hassan al-Kurdi and the main street, in addition to Junaidi Square and Zahraa Mosque, towards the Abbasid roundabout.
Omran indicated that the capacity of a number of transmission centers in the countryside of Homs has also been improved, including the conversion center for the village of Rabla and Al-Qusayr, and two centers in the town of Mariamin, with the aim of reducing the electrical load from the rest of the transformers and improving the electrical reality.
