Charged venues for team sports include football, baseball, rugby, cricket, and hockey fields; indoor facilities, including basketball, volleyball, netball, and handball courts, will reopen on September 18.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will also reopen the free outdoor chess table on September 18, and the amphitheater will only be used for personal leisure activities.

By September 23, outdoor children's amusement facilities and traffic safety city will be reopened.

However, after the reopening of the facility, groups of more than 4 people are still prohibited, and the auditorium will continue to be temporarily suspended, group competitions will be cancelled, and cleaning will be enhanced.

Starting from tomorrow (17th), the public can use the Leisure Link online reservation counters and self-service kiosks of the reopened venues and the Leisure Link reservation counters of the district leisure service offices to book the above-mentioned reopened land-based fee-based recreational facilities.

Pool reopens: open from 6 to 10

All swimming pools (except the Island East Swimming Pool, Tai Kok Tsui Swimming Pool, Ho Man Tin Swimming Pool, Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Swimming Pool and Tsing Yi Southwest Swimming Pool which are undergoing annual maintenance) will reopen on September 18.

The opening hours of the reopened swimming pool will be from 6:30 am to 10 pm every day. It will be open in three sessions, and there will be a pool break between the two sessions.

The number of pool admissions is halved

When public swimming pools are reopened, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will take special measures, including: temporarily reducing the number of pool participants by half, maintaining the distance between swimmers, and opening only part of the swimming pool facilities.

In order to avoid crowds during the waiting period, if the number of people in the swimming pool has reached the upper limit, the waiting number will be issued to the waiting people, and the waiting people will be reminded to pay attention to the number displayed on the waiting sign and wait for admission; all Those who enter the swimming pool must take their body temperature before entering the venue. To ensure proper distance between users of shower facilities, showers or shower heads will be opened in the form of "one apart, one open"; during group training, each training group or class including the coach should not exceed four people; Each training group or class must be at least 1.5 meters apart; training groups or classes with more than four people must be divided into groups of no more than four people and each group must be at least 1.5 meters away from each other; and the swimming pool auditorium will be temporarily closed .

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department reminds citizens that they must wear masks at all times when they are in any swimming pool, but they must warm up when swimming, showering, going to and from changing rooms and swimming pools, going to different swimming pools, or at least 1.5 meters away from other people. This is not the case when exercising.

Public beaches and free outdoor team courts remain closed

Some recreational facilities will remain closed until further notice, including public beaches, free outdoor team courts such as football, basketball, volleyball, handball, netball, roller hockey, gate, cricket, and barbecues Playground, indoor children’s playroom and Pui O camp.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will continue to accept and process individual and group reservation applications for free land-based recreation and sports facilities, as well as group reservation applications for fee-based land-based recreation and sports facilities.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will suspend accepting and processing reservation applications for non-designated activities or sales activities at its amphitheaters and free recreational venues until further notice.

The Science Museum and Space Museum will be partially open from 9.23

In terms of cultural facilities, the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Hong Kong Space Museum will open some exhibition facilities and implement special opening hours from September 23 (Wednesday). All public programs and children's facilities will be suspended.

Except for closed days, the LCSD museums (including the ticket office of the Hong Kong Film Archive) still have special opening hours every day from 10 am to 5 pm, and the special opening hours of the Hong Kong Space Museum are from 12:30 pm to 5 pm Time.

All museums continue to limit the number of visitors.

Among them, the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Space Museum will adopt segmented admission to control the flow of people.
