The "Safety Net" program will provide a grant to businesses that have experienced a 25% decline in annual revenue turnover, Finance Minister Israel Katz, Economy Minister Amir Peretz and Bank of Israel Governor Amir Yaron concluded this evening (Wednesday).

The outline is conditional on government approval.

As part of the agreements, it was decided to lower the threshold for receiving the grants from a 40% reduction in the annual revenue turnover to 25%.

In addition, business owners affected by 25% will be exempt from paying property taxes by the end of 2020.
