Appointments were received at reception and the registry office on the very first day.
“We assume that it will be accepted more and more in the next few days and weeks,” says Jessica Schirmer from the Citizens' Office.
Around ten percent of the appointments are already made online in their department.
Specifically, there were five appointments for Thursday on Wednesday morning.
In the initial phase it is possible to book an appointment between three weeks and twelve hours in advance.
For example, if you want to apply for a passport, you will see that you should allow 15 minutes for it, and if you click the arrow to the left of "Passport application", you will find a list of all the documents that you must bring with you.
If he has chosen the appointment, he enters his contact details including the date of birth and is informed of corona-related regulations such as the obligation to protect the mouth and nose and data protection.
“You can see the tendency that the younger generation under 40 is more likely to use it,” says Schirmer.
Furthermore, you can just come by, but you have to expect a bit of waiting time, or get an appointment by phone.
Gauting offers an online appointment service for matters relating to the registration of residents and business, as well as social affairs.
Preparations are under way in Krailling.
The town hall is currently closed due to corona and an appointment by telephone is necessary.
