Showers are affecting the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea. Several millimetres of rainfall were recorded in many areas of Hong Kong this morning. In addition, a northern monsoon is affecting the coastal areas of Guangdong.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, the Severe Tropical Storm Hongxia gathered about 200 kilometers east of Da Nang and is expected to move westward at a speed of about 28 kilometers per hour to central Vietnam.
