A mixture of Arabic songs close to people by a group of great singers presented by singer Suleiman Harfoush and the “Qasid” band during a musical evening led and distributed by musician Maestro Kamal Skiker and hosted by the Drama Theater of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.

The evening program was distinguished by its preservation of the basic identity of the song without prejudice to the basic melody, and it included all the lyrical colors from the Syrian, Lebanese and Egyptian schools. The songs were distributed in a harmonious manner to serve the theme of the song and the emotions it left behind.

The evening started with the playing of a new piece of music called “Shawq” within the Sama'i format composed by Skiker, and a new song was presented, entitled “Ya Ayoun Dayatna”, written and composed by Issa Al-Najjar.

Suleiman performed with his voice, “Throwing in the Arrow of Hawah” composed by Dawood Hosni and “Al Habayeb Aalim Habayeb Aoudouna” by the late Syrian composer Zuhair Al-Issawi and the badge of the series “Layali Al-Helmiyya, composed by Michel Al-Masry and“ Helwa Wa Nialha ”by Zaki Nassif. Samra Ya Samra "to conclude the evening with the song" Ya Mahala Al Fasaha "by Lahosni.

It is noteworthy that the artist, Suleiman Harfoush, a graduate of the Higher Institute of Music, was sent by the Institute to Greece to pursue specialized studies in sound and singing techniques for two years and participated in many traditional singing festivals and with the Syrian Orchestra of Arab Music.

As for the Qasid group, it was established in 2008 and includes forty musicians and singers, and it works on performing selections of heritage in addition to experimental and creative works. It highlights the importance of musical distribution and focuses on everything that is old and original.
