A frontal collision occurred at Marschal on Thursday afternoon on the B318.
Both of those affected come from Gmund am Tegernsee.

The Holzkirchen police report:
On September 17th, 2020, around 4:05 p.m., there was a traffic accident with minor personal injury on the B318 near Marschall.
A 46-year-old BMW driver from the Gmund a.
Tegernsee drove the federal highway 318 coming from Holzkirchen in the direction of Tegernsee.
At the Marschall junction, she started to overtake a column of vehicles, despite the overtaking ban in force there.
At the same time, a 48-year-old Audi driver, also from the municipality of Gmund am Tegernsee, drove his vehicle from Marschall towards the federal road.
He turned left onto Bundesstraße 13 in the direction of Holzkirchen.
This led to a head-on collision between the two vehicles, which resulted in minor injuries to the 48-year-old Audi driver.
Fortunately, the BMW driver was uninjured.
The property damage caused by the accident is currently estimated at around EUR 17,500.
Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and had to be recovered by a tow company.
Furthermore, the roadway was contaminated by leaking operating materials that had to be cleaned by the road maintenance department.
During the recording of the accident and the clean-up work, the B318 was partly closed and there were brief delays in traffic.
The Holzkirchen police station has started investigations into the course of the accident.
