It sounds unbelievable: "Hopp, drive towards" - with these words a young man is said to have persuaded his buddy to run over a young woman.

It sounds unbelievable: "Hopp, drive towards" - with these words a young man is said to have persuaded his buddy to run over a young woman.

  • In 2017, a 20-year-old woman from Bavaria was killed in the night.

  • The driver of the car had 2.87 per mille.

  • After receiving a very mild sentence, the process is now entering the next round.

There is now apparently a tragic clue.

Würzburg - A 20-year-old had to die because she was ruthlessly run over by a drunk novice driver.

In April 2017, she and her boyfriend were on their way home to a party in

Eisenheim,

Lower Franconia

(Würzburg district), where their partner's birthday was celebrated.

He then had to watch as his girlfriend was hit by a

car

and thrown 13 meters.

The driver of the car was 18 years old at the time, was drifting at high speed along a dirt road and had

2.87 per mille of alcohol

.

His passengers, who were also heavily drunk, went to

sleep

after the

accident

and had not given any help after the impact.

The young woman died in hospital a few days after the night of the accident.

Würzburg: Dried dead with just under three per thousand - only 5,000 euros fine

The men were already

fined

in October 2019 before the

Würzburg district court

.

The now 21-year-old main defendant was

fined 5,000 euros and

banned

from driving for one year

due to

negligent full drunkenness

under youth criminal law (Section 323a of the Criminal Code).

The

public prosecutor's office

had actually pleaded for a conviction for negligent homicide under adult criminal law and

demanded

a

prison sentence

of two

and a

half years.

At that time, however, an expert opinion classified the young man as incompetent at the time of the crime - because of his intoxication.

The mild sentence had caused great public outrage.

Only a few could

understand

the

verdict

at that time.

Even the judge said: “This judgment is given in the name of the people.

But the people have to study law for a couple of semesters in order to understand what I have judged today. ”The

public prosecutor

and the family in the secondary

prosecution

appealed, so that the verdict is now being retried before the

Würzburg district court

.

Because of the corona pandemic *, the process took place under special circumstances *.

For example, the defendants had to wear mouth and nose protection *.

Now there are signs of a spectacular and tragic turn in the case.

Würzburg: "Hopp, drive towards them" - was the main accused instigated?

Was the death driver incited to run over the young woman?

"The day after the start of the trial, a witness reported to the court, according to which the passenger had said at a private party that he had asked the driver to drive them over," said the defense attorney for the main defendant of the

(article behind the payment barrier).

Is it therefore now even being

investigated

for

murder

?

On Wednesday (September 16), one of the co-drivers, now 22, was arrested and brought before the judge a day later.

Apparently the then also heavily drunk young man is said to have said on the day of the accident in the car: “Hopp, drive on!”
