One of the most significant centers of saying goodbye before Rosh Hashanah is the Western Wall, and in a normal year tens of thousands of people come to the place.

This year, due to the corona plague, selichot are held in a much smaller format and in capsules, with the participation of a few thousand.

Tonight, the Selichot class will be broadcast live on "Israel Today" tonight at midnight.

Arrival for prayer at the Western Wall tonight for the main selichot class is only with lottery tickets that have been distributed in advance, as announced, between 23: 00-01: 30 at night.

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation notes that since Rosh Chodesh Elul, tens of thousands of people have entered the Western Wall plaza.

Many visited the extension daily and night to petition in prayer on days of mercy and forgiveness in accordance with Ministry of Health procedures.

According to the government's decision, starting on Friday evening of Rosh Hashanah at 14:00, prayer will be allowed in the Western Wall plaza according to the instructions for people living up to 500 meters from the place of prayer, so that the Western Wall plaza will be open to Old City and David.

During the Ten Days of Repentance, prayer rallies will be held every night in a limited format, with the exciting central class on the eve of Yom Kippur of Slichot and allowing curses and vows to be held in a special format in the presence of the Chief Rabbis of Israel, the Western Wall rabbi, rabbis and public figures.

All the classes will be broadcast on the Western Wall website, in the media and around the world.
