Sweida-Sana
The sales of the automatic carpet factory in Sweida since the beginning of this year have reached more than 7,350 square meters, with a value that exceeded 94 million pounds.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent today, the director of the plant, Eng. Hamad Al-Shoufi, said that the quantities marketed since the beginning of this year were either directly to citizens and places of worship or through the branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in cash or in installments for state workers.
And the products of the factory are witnessing good demand because the prices are competitive in the market and due to the confidence in its products and the diversity of their patterns and colors, indicating that a variety of new patterns has recently been introduced, measuring 2 by 3 meters to meet different tastes.
The automated carpet factory in Sweida took off in 1979 and its production during the past eight months reached about 13 thousand square meters.
