missing woman
had
traveled
to
Freiburg
to go hiking alone
in the
southern Black Forest
.
She was last seen doing it in a
hotel in St. Blasien
.
Here she set out in the early hours of the morning.
The police, fire brigade and mountain
guards have searched in vain

missing woman
last
posed smiling
in the forest and sent regular updates via Whatsapp.
Now her
family
fear
the worst.
The hope of
finding
Scarlett
alive was
sinking every day

Desperate, she even started on her own, making calls on social media and in hiking forums to find her sister.

searched
the forest for hours
on
Monday
with around
35 search dogs
and a
drone
: unsuccessfully.
The experienced
hiker
recently wanted to
walk
through the
Wehratal in the direction of Wehr
in the Black Forest
, a difficult terrain that shouldn't actually be a problem for Scarlett.
Since the
photo of a surveillance camera
in a supermarket near the hotel of the missing, however, there is no trace.
