Author of a season at 29.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists, the 25-year-old ahead of LeBron James (LA Lakers) and James Harden (Houston) in the votes.
Antetokounmpo had already been voted Best Defender of the Year a few days ago.
So far, only four players have won both trophies over their entire careers, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Hakeem Olajuwon and Michael Jordan.
Two did so in the same year, Jordan in 1988 and Olajuwon in 1994. With Giannis Antetokounmpo, the closed club of players who have twice won the MVP title now has 23 members.
Recall that the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated in the second round of the play-offs, by Miami.
They had the best record in the league at the end of the regular season, with 56 wins and 17 losses.
