Former adviser to Vice President Mike Pence Olivia Troye, who was also a senior adviser in the White House coronavirus task force, revealed that President Donald Trump said in a meeting that the pandemic could be a good thing, since it would not have to shaking hands with "disgusting" people.
The White House said her allegations were not true.
Troye is now part of a group of Republicans against the president.
