The European Union will sanction on Monday a Turkish company implicated in the violations of the embargo on the sales of arms imposed on Libya by the United Nations, announced Friday several diplomats in Brussels.

”addressed to countries which violate this embargo, confided one of the diplomats.

A Turkish company against which convincing evidence has been established is among the three sanctioned entities, said another diplomat.
The other two companies are Jordanian and Kazakh, according to the same sources.
Their assets in the EU will be frozen and they will no longer be able to have relations with EU companies, nor have access to European financial markets.
The sanctions will be formally endorsed by EU foreign ministers at a meeting Monday in Brussels.
The European Union has set up a naval operation, Irini, responsible for monitoring compliance with the UN embargo.

” many violations committed by Turkey, diplomats stressed.
