Mónica García Villegas, former director of the Enrique Rébsamen School, was found guilty of manslaughter and owner responsibility for the death of 26 people.

The victims died from the collapse of part of the building during the earthquake of September 19, 2017, in Mexico City.

The woman has pleaded not guilty and her defense stated that she is preparing a strategy to prove it.
