Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
South African Foreign Minister Nalidi Bandor reiterated her country's firm stance on the Palestinian issue and continued to provide all forms of support to it until the end of the Israeli occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
"The Palestinian people are the only ones able to speak on their behalf and negotiate for themselves," Pandor said in a telephone conversation with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki today, stressing that her country will not be with any initiative that the state of Palestine rejects or is outside it.
For his part, Al-Maliki clarified that the challenges facing the Palestinian cause, starting with the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation and its colonial plans, and the American sanctions imposed on the Palestinian people, are part of the American attempts to pass annexation plans within the framework of the "Deal of the Century".
Al-Maliki thanked the Republic of South Africa for its full commitment to support the Palestinian cause.
