“I'm in the middle of a dream, I don't know what to say.
We dreamed of this from the start and we succeeded.
It's incredible.
My dream was just to participate in the Tour de France and today I won it on the last stage (sic).
We did a reconnaissance and I knew every turn, every place to accelerate.
I only heard my director on the radio on the first part.
Then, I heard nothing more on the climb with the noise of the crowd.
But I know the climb well so I went all the way to the end ”, commented the new yellow jersey Tadej Pogacar, author of one of the greatest exploits in the history of the Tour de France, on Saturday at La Planche des Belles Girls and future winner of the Grande Boucle on Sunday thanks to an incredible time in the time trial.
