Soul of a fighter: Russian opposition leader Alexander Navlani was recorded today (Saturday) walking for the first time since being poisoned by military nerve gas of the Novichuk type last month on a flight from the city of Tomsk to the capital Moscow.

Navalny, who was hospitalized in a hospital in Berlin to which he was flown from the city of Umansk, where the plane landed on board was poisoned, was documented climbing and descending the hospital steps.

In a post on the social network Instagram, Navalny wrote: "Let me tell you how the recovery is progressing, it is a clear path, but one that will take a long time."

Navalny claimed he was still unable to use his phone and had difficulty pouring water into the glass after severe damage was done to his nervous system and his hands and feet were shaking.

"There are a lot of problems that need to be solved but the amazing doctors at Arita Hospital have solved the biggest problem of them all," Navalny said, referring to saving his life.

"They have transformed me from a person who lives only technically to a person who is able to use the social network Instagram and decide with a clear mind who to like," the opposition leader joked.

Navalny aroused astonishment and appreciation when he awoke from the medical coma in which he was immersed and declared that he wanted to recover and return to Russia to conduct the struggle for democracy in the country.

Laboratories in several European countries have announced that the poison used against Nabalani is military nerve gas developed in the Soviet Union and used by Russian security services.

Moscow denies allegations of poisoning by Navalny and Russian statesmen have long accused the West of creating a "provocation" aimed at harming the Putin regime.

Meanwhile, tens of thousands demonstrated today in the city of Khabarovsk against the imprisonment of the liberal governor of the reasonable province and against the intervention of the regime in the local elections held this week.

Blocking opposition candidates and sabotaging the election process allowed Putin's party to win an almost total election victory.
