Three police officers were injured in a collision in Lorient on the night of Friday 18 to Saturday 19 September by a vehicle spotted by another police patrol, the prosecution said in a statement.
The three police officers were injured "
for one in a rather serious way
" but their vital prognosis is not engaged, specified the prosecutor of Lorient Stéphane Kellenberger, in a press release.
A police officer "
presented fractures
", another suffered "
a significant psychological shock
", while a young security assistant suffers "
from multiple wounds
", according to the same source.
The facts took place while a patrol of the anti-crime brigade (BAC) "
observed a vehicle moving at low speed
".
This vehicle "
crossed a traffic light, red, and thus struck, violently, a second police vehicle, in the opposite direction
", explained the magistrate.
The occupants of the "
suspect vehicle
", a man and two women, were also slightly injured.
A woman was taken into custody on Saturday when she was released from the hospital.
