The United States has sent additional forces and armored vehicles to eastern Syria after a series of clashes with Russian forces, including a car accident in which four American soldiers were recently injured.
During the same incident, Russian vehicles scraped an American vehicle, and two Russian helicopters hovered over them, one of them 20 meters away.
A spokesman for Central Command US Army, Bill Orban, said that the United States has deployed addition, radar systems and increased Hsioriim air Skies region to improve the protection of US forces and allies.
"The United States is not looking for any confrontation with another country Syria, but It will protect coalition forces if necessary, "he said.
A senior U.S. official said six Bradley armored fighter jets and less than 100 soldiers had been sent to eastern Syria. It is clear to Russia that it will refrain from dangerous and provocative actions against the United States and its allies in the country.

Russia, which supports Bashar Assad's regime, opposes the US presence in the country and blamed the US military for the incident.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it had updated the US coalition on the route of the Russian military police convoy, and that US forces had tried to block it.
However, the commander of the Central Command of the United States Army, General Frank Mackenzie, said that Russian forces were not supposed to be in this area and accused them of "reckless tactical level" behavior.
He said that despite the effective communication channel between the armies designed to prevent clashes on the ground, the Russian military "did not make any coordination with us" regarding that patrol.
He stressed that the army will take the necessary measures to maintain the safety of the soldiers and their ability to carry out their mission.
After that incident, American forces left the area to prevent the situation from getting worse.
The American forces in Syria are usually accompanied by the Kurdish Syrian democratic forces, with whom they are cooperating in the fight against ISIS remnants in the region.
While there have been several incidents between American and Russian forces in eastern Syria recently, officials said this last month is the most worrying.
