The Ministry of Health in the Turkish system announced that the general number of people infected with the new Coronavirus in the country has increased during the past 24 hours by 1538, bringing the total to 301,348 cases.
The ministry stated that the death toll from the virus reached 7,445 people, after 68 new deaths were recorded.
In recent weeks, Turkey has witnessed significant increases in daily infections and deaths from the Coronavirus, which raises a fierce debate in the country about policies to confront the disease.
