Many restaurateurs from around the country intend to open their businesses tomorrow (Monday) in violation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, while adhering to the guidelines for preventing gatherings and / or having a short-term courier in restaurants and cafes, thus allowing sale to casual customers on the street.
"Strong restaurateurs together" announced today (Sunday) support for restaurateurs who intend to open their businesses, by helping them raise funds for reports they may receive and assisting them with legal assistance if necessary. "We understand that in light of the trend closure that applies to certain sectors Only, and not a health closure, do not complain about the restaurateurs who want to make a living in these difficult days.
The economic plan proposed and despite the improvements in it, is still a partial solution and it is not enough to satisfy the restaurateurs, "the association said.
Earlier today, a fine of NIS 5,000 was imposed on the "Nisso" restaurant in the flea market in Jaffa, after operating during the closure and also because it did not follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
While the municipal police arrived at the scene, about ten diners were present inside the restaurant and about 40 more outside.
The police instructed the owner of the place to close the restaurant and stop receiving crowds.
