Despite the national closure imposed yesterday (Friday) throughout Israel, hundreds of demonstrators arrived tonight, at the end of Rosh Hashanah, to demonstrate in front of the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem.

Compared to previous demonstrations that have taken place at the venue in recent months, tonight there is a rather sparse presence of protesters, apparently due to the closure that is still in effect.

Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

During the evening, protest organizers are expected to display on the walls of the buildings in the square guidelines for maintaining social distance.

In response to the police attempt to create capsules, the Kiryat Minster movement said: "Balfour Police and Superintendent Doron Yadid (Jerusalem District Commander, Y.I.) are once again taking the law into their own hands. The delusional capsule layout has not been approved at all, and police officially announced yesterday "Once again it has been proven that the police serve as the defendant's last line of defense and they are doing everything they can to sabotage the protest and abuse the protesters."

Protesters who arrived in the area marked neat places two meters apart in favor of the protesters who intended to arrive.

Many vehicles making their way to the capital were spotted carrying black flags.

Among the organizers of the demonstration, there was a claim about traffic congestion on the way to Jerusalem, but the entrance to the city was without any delay.

As part of the preparations for the demonstration, the police announced that it would deploy forces in the streets near the prime minister's residence.

Ben Maimon, Gaza, Paris Square, Agron, King George and Keren Hayesod streets have been blocked to traffic, and further adjacent streets leading to streets that are already blocked are expected to be blocked.

The demonstration, which is expected to take place tonight, will be the first major protest since the closure began, and the first to take place since the new outline of demonstrations was published on Tuesday.

According to the outline, formulated by the police, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Justice, demonstrators will be required to demonstrate in groups of up to 20 people while maintaining a social distance of at least two meters from each other, wearing a face mask and maintaining distance between groups.
