A fall into the sea occurred in Tsim Sha Tsui.

At about 2 in the morning, it was reported that a woman in her 20s was suspected of being drunk. She suddenly fell into the sea on the waterfront of Tsim Sha Tsui near the Cultural Center.

Upon seeing the incident, a nearby fishing man immediately picked up a life-saving blister on the shore and jumped down to rescue the female victim. Other passers-by reported the incident on their behalf.

A fire boat arrived at the scene to assist the two of them ashore. Both were awake when they were rescued and were sent to the hospital by an ambulance.

During this period, the female victim kept crying and had to put on reflective felt to keep warm.

The police are investigating the incident. The police officers seized the fishing supplies at the scene and returned them to the man who rescued the fisherman.

Mr. Li, who fell into the water to save his life, was interviewed when he left after being examined in the hospital.

He pointed out that he started fishing at the site at around 9 o'clock last night. Until the incident, he was packing his equipment and leaving. During the period, he found a woman wandering near him, talking loudly on the phone, and then sitting on the railing on the shore. Above, Li pointed out that listening to his dialogue seemed to be "waiting for someone."

Suddenly, the woman didn't know where she ended up. Li feared that she would fall into the water, so she approached the beach and probed the surface of the sea to understand. She found that the woman was already in the sea, and she called for help in the sea.

Mr. Li immediately abandoned his rucksack, jumped into the sea to rescue the person, and pulled the woman back to the shore near the water outlet to wait for rescue.

Mr. Lai said that the woman was drunk at the time, but she was in the sea, "I don’t want to call the police." Lai said, "I didn’t call the police, please calm down, someone is calling to help you!" This is the first time I rescued. People said, "No feeling, no point, save people first." He said that his swimming skills are okay. Fortunately, this time offshore is closer. If it is too far away, he may not be confident.

As for the catch, it has all been abandoned.

Police said that the scene was about 1 meter off the sea from No. 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

The female victim’s surname is Luo, 33 years old; the male victim’s surname is Li, 43 years old.

The police received a report from a passer-by at 2:42 am that there was a man and a woman suspected of falling into the sea at the site.

The fire rescued the two of them, so they were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

After the initial investigation by the police, it is believed that the victim surnamed Luo accidentally fell into the sea at the site. Li Nan went to the sea in an attempt to save the victim. The incident was not suspicious.

Mr. Li recounted what happened.
