Bill Gates is frustrated by the way coronavirus testing is being delayed in the United States.
"Even today, people don't get their results in 24 hours," Bill Gates said on "Fox News Sunday."

And when it comes to the technology behind the testing, Gates made it clear that there is no excuse for slow time.
"The United States has more of these machines, more of this capacity than other countries in a large number," he said.
As for the way the United States handled the pandemic in general, Gates said, "We did a very poor job and you can see that in the numbers."

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has been heavily involved in the race for a coronavirus vaccine.
The foundation supports CureVac, a German biotech company that is working on a vaccine against covid-19.
