The MTR announced that it will increase the number of trains during the school and end of school hours from the 23rd. The train frequency of 9 railway lines will be increased from 3.1 to 9 minutes at present and 2.7 to 8 minutes before 7:15 am on weekdays. ; As for the end of school hours from 12 noon to 2 pm, the frequency of the relevant route will be from 3.6 to 10 minutes, and the frequency will be increased to 3.4 to 8.5 minutes.
KMB also announced earlier that most of the route services will resume normal from today (21st). As for the day when classes resume, bus services in the school area will be resumed.

The MTR spokesperson also pointed out that during the resumption of classes, it will always closely monitor the operating conditions and passenger volume of various railway lines, and adjust train services in a timely manner according to actual needs.
As for the services of the light rail routes, the dual-card light rail will be deployed in response to actual passenger demand.
The MTR said that after careful consideration of the epidemic situation and passenger demand, it decided to not provide overnight train services on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival on October 1, and only maintain normal service hours, but additional trains will be dispatched when necessary.
From September 23, MTR will increase the number of train services for students going to and after school.
