After the corona lockdown and after the holidays, they speak up again: The Fridays for Future movements in a circle are preparing the next actions.
In the time of the strict Corona rules, there were hardly any climate demos
Now the activists want to draw attention to their concerns again
Actions are planned in Bruck and Germering
(Updated version of September 21st :) The climate activists from Fridays for Future will take to the streets again on Friday, September 25th.
The demo route through Fürstenfeldbruck and the associated road closures have now been set: From 3:30 p.m. the B2 between Oskar-von-Miller-Straße and Albrecht-Dürer-Straße will be closed.
At 4 p.m. the opening rally will take place on Münchner Strasse between Oskar-von-Miller-Strasse and the tax office.
From around 4.40 p.m., the demonstration train moves towards the city center.
The right lane is closed, traffic can flow on the opposite lane.
At around 5.10 p.m. there is a stop at the town hall.
Afterwards there will be demonstrations at the final rally at the Volksfestplatz until around 8 p.m.
This process has been agreed with the authorities.
The Fridays for Future demonstration is supported by numerous activists, artists and musicians with speeches and live acts.
Including the successful poetry slammer Meike Harms, speeches by various activists, the bands NOR! AN, INLIER and Kraut & Ruhm as well as Konstantin Wecker presents: Tamara Banez and Miriam Green.
Independent of the party, the movement is calling for the German government to phase out coal by 2030 and Germany to be climate neutral by 2035.
Corona protection at the demo
To protect against corona, everyone must keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters, among other things.
Everyone must wear masks.
The train is divided into blocks.
A separate concept ensures that arrival and departure are in line with corona.
Disinfectants are available on the stage.
A relatively large number of folders are used.
Germering / Fürstenfeldbruck - The last major action planned by the climate activists in Bruck was a demo at the city park.
After some discussions, she finally fell into the water because of the increasing number of corona infections.
At least the activists were able to hand over their demands to the city.
That was in March.
Global climate strike
This time, however, it will not only be about climate change, but also about a local topic: the planned gravel mining in the Rothschwaiger Forest, which has already raised various critical voices.
Human chain in Germering
In Germering, the members of the For Future movement are planning a human chain through the city center.
A 1.5-meter-long piece of string (or a scarf) should be held between the participants in order to ensure the distances.
They meet on Friday, September 25th, from 1 p.m. on the square in front of the library.
The organizers ask to bring the string (or something similar) with you.
Because of the Corona crisis, climate protection threatens to fall by the wayside, according to the call for a demo.
The hope of restructuring the economy ecologically and socially after its collapse has long been buried.
The news that testified to the urgency of climate protection would be overlaid by Corona news, it said.
It is now all the more important to draw attention to climate change again.
The Germeringer organizers remember the last big event last year when over 1000 visitors came.
