During the first closure we were exposed to a difficult phenomenon - people who adopted animals, and abandoned them at the end of the closure • This time they do it right • Join us for a special adoption transmitter

During the first closure in March a record amount of animal adoptions with an emphasis on dogs was reported, but immediately afterwards a wave of abandonment also arrived.

However, it seems that the number of adoptions was greater than the number of abandonments, so the difficult period we are going through is at least with some of our friends going on all fours.

"Israel Today" is now presenting a special adoption project together with "Animal Cruelty" in Israel - and calls on you surfers to come and adopt a friend or girlfriend (or several friends!) For life, with an emphasis on for life, without ever giving up this friend.

A tour of the Animal Welfare Association // Presenter: Lior Peleg, Photography: Gil Kramer

In the special broadcast, we will talk to Gadi Whitner, spokesman for the "Animal Cruelty in Israel" association, who will tell us about the adoptions, the abandonment, the closure, the corona, the unique veterinary clinic that was all donated by a good woman who left all her fortune to animal cruelty in her will. The charming ones - the dogs, cats, and even the rodents that are in the association's facilities - are all waiting for a permanent home that will receive them and give them love and warmth.
