A 62-year-old man was shot to death tonight (Monday) in the northern town of Yarka.
MDA staff evacuated him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya while performing resuscitation operations, where his death was determined.
The hospital said that upon arrival he was admitted to the shock room while being anesthetized and respirated, and shortly thereafter doctors were forced to determine his death.
The police conducted searches for suspects at the scene, along with the collection of findings by the forensic investigators as part of an investigation that was opened. The background and circumstances of the investigation, and the police said that the investigation of the incident is defined as a murder investigation.
MDA paramedic Michael Yachnov and a senior MDA paramedic, Hassib Shehadeh, said: We immediately began providing him with advanced medical care and performing resuscitation operations that included stopping bleeding, massages, resuscitation and giving medication, we put him in the intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing resuscitation operations when his condition was human and unstable.
