A 4.7 magnitude earthquake shook the western region of Guatemala on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English)
The seismic focus was located 77.6 km deep, according to the USGS.
The epicenter was located 20.6 km west northwest of Ocós, in the department of San Marcos, and 23.7 km northeast of Flores Costa Cuca, department of Quetzaltenango.
