Facilitating procedures and ease of obtaining passports within the Immigration and Passports Branch in Daraa, amid demands for the creation of two branches of the Central Bank of Syria and the Syrian Commercial Bank and finding a suitable place to accommodate all auditors in cases of overcrowding.
The auditors of the Immigration and Passports Branch in Daraa expressed satisfaction with the measures taken, indicating that the measures taken in light of the decrease in the number of auditors are good in terms of completing travel documents at the required speed, stressing the importance of creating a niche belonging to the two branches of the two mentioned banks within the Immigration Branch to pay the fees for travel documents and thus reduce the time and reduce the burden of transportation for citizens.
In a statement to SANA correspondent between citizen Muhammad Ahmad Sawan that the transaction was completed in a third of an hour within easy procedures in the one window, indicating that the delay was in moving to the commercial bank branch to pay the necessary fee, which necessitates the concerned parties to create a porthole within the immigration branch.
Auditor Khaled Al-Eid emphasized the ease of procedures applied within the Immigration Branch and the success of the working mechanism within the single window, starting with the delivery of documents, through auditing, and ending with submitting the form in preparation for printing the passport according to its classification (urgent or normal).
Major Maher Attia, head of the travel documents section at the Daraa Immigration Branch, stated that the branch provides the necessary services to citizens amid adherence to the precautionary measures to address the Corona virus, especially with regard to spatial distancing, indicating that the branch employees issue regular passports within ten days and urgent within twenty-four hours.
