Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday (September 22), during a telephone conversation, that he expected from Paris a "
constructive attitude
" in the crisis between Ankara and Athens in the eastern Mediterranean.

President Erdogan said he expected from France common sense and a constructive attitude in this process,
" announced the Turkish presidency, while Turkey and Greece have just said they are ready to start negotiations. Paris has supported Athens in this crisis.
