It wasn't a normal ice hockey game: The first test game of the "ice hackers" in Corona times was characterized by hygiene regulations.
Peißenberg
- The access to the ice rink was through the emergency exit for the spectators.
However, this was not the only corona-related measure that those responsible took in the first test match between the Peißenberg “ice hackers” and the “River Rats” from Geretsried.
For the 200 fans who had to register online in advance, it was mandatory to wear a mask in the hall and outside during the third breaks.
"This is also a test for us to see how everything works," reported TSV President Stefan Rießenberger, who is currently also acting chairman of the ice hockey department.
His realization: The audience had met the requirements well.
I've already heard that we should be the strictest in Bavaria.

“That worked out brilliantly,” said Rießenberger, also with a view to the strict separation of fans and players by means of flutter tapes and clear routing.
“I've already heard that we should be the strictest in Bavaria.
But that's better than first looking at it casually and then having to tighten it, ”said the TSV President.
Also when it comes to sport, there was nothing to complain about on the Peißenberger side.
“The team showed character after falling 3-0 down.
And for the fact that we were missing four important players, our performance was okay, ”said Randy Neal, who won a 6: 4 (0: 3, 4: 1, 2: 0) victory after his return to the coaching position at TSV against the team of the former Peißenberg coach Rudi Sternkopf.
“In the end we ran out of air,” said Sternkopf, who only stood on the ice five times with his team due to problems with the ice rink in Geretsried.
However, the Geretsrieder had already completed their first test match in Buchloe last week.
For the "Eishackler", however, it was the first game since March 10, when they lost 3-2 in Waldkraiburg and were eliminated from the pre-play-offs of the Bayernliga.
Immediately afterwards, the season was canceled anyway due to Corona.
Ice hockey: Peißenberg fights back against Geretsried after 0-3 deficit
The lack of match practice made itself felt at the beginning of the home team, who competed without the Andrä brothers Martin and Markus, Maximilian Brauer and Matthias Lidl.
The vote and the duel behavior did not fit.
The "River Rats" used this circumstance to lead them 3-0 (9th, 12th, 18th).
"In the first third break, we changed a bit," reported Neal.
This measure had an immediate effect.
His team got the opponent under control.
Within a very short time, the home side caught up with goals from Moritz Birkner (25th), Elias Maier (32nd) and Maximilian Malzatzki (33rd).
Also the 3: 4 (37th) put away well by the young “ice hackers”.
After another equalization by Steven Wagner (38th), the Peißenberger took the lead for the first time in the final third through Florian Imminger (50th).
An empty net hit shortly before the end, again scored by Imminger (60th), made the success of TSV perfect.
