Prime Minister Ofer Golan and Topaz Locke's advisers filed a defamation lawsuit against Ehud Barak, Uri Misgav and Ravit Naor, in light of the fact that they and other advisers accused them of staging a demonstration as part of the left-wing demonstrations in Balfour.
In the lawsuit, for a total of NIS 420,000, it was alleged that "the defendants decided to publish a false plot about the plaintiffs and presented a conspiracy theory according to which the plaintiffs" planted "demonstrators in a demonstration and directed them in order to spread false publications.
In practice, the plaintiffs did not hang anyone or direct anyone.
They did not know the demonstrators they met and they photographed those demonstrators as anyone could have photographed them. '
It was further stated that "the defendants knew full well that their publications constituted a false plot and they distributed them only out of a desire to harm the political camp to which the prime minister belongs and on the assumption that the plaintiffs' good name is no man's land, that defendants are allowed to spread lies and will not be prosecuted. ".
"But the plaintiffs are unwilling to move to the agenda for the damage to their good name and they are filing this defamation suit so that the court can determine that the defendants have published a false plot and charge them with appropriate compensation," the lawsuit said.
Topaz Luke caused a stir when he was documented violating the bido regulations, after being required in solitary confinement due to his trip to the United States with the Prime Minister's entourage.
Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to criticism of Locke as "selective enforcement."
