Iranian President Hassan Rouhani today reaffirmed that the unilateral coercive US measures imposed on his country are a "flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international agreements."
"The Iranian people were deprived of international cooperation, and a harsh embargo was imposed on them in violation of UN Resolution 2231," Rouhani said during his videoconference address at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly today, referring to this people who have been resisting for decades in defense of their pursuit of freedom from domination and tyranny.
Rouhani added: We committed ourselves to the nuclear agreement despite the US withdrawal from it. Nevertheless, we face harsh sanctions, stressing that Washington cannot impose war or negotiations on his country.

Rouhani clarified that America is the only one who used nuclear weapons in the world and the Zionist entity is the only one in the region that possesses these weapons, pointing out that Washington is currently living in "international isolation."
On the outbreak of the Corona virus in the world, Rouhani said, "This global pandemic reminded all members of the human community that confronting common global issues is only possible through global participation."
