The group of sick leave is joined by striker
Gabigol
, his greatest figure, due to a muscle injury, and defender Gustavo Henrique, suspended.
The situation led the Catalan coach Domènec Torrent to summon the youth João Lucas, Natan, Guilherme Bala and Rodrigo Muniz, who got on a plane this Monday in Rio de Janeiro to Guayaquil but
had to return to their place of origin due to that the flight did not have the permits to enter the airspace of Peru.
In the afternoon they waited for authorization to see if they arrived on time for the game time.
It is worth remembering that
"Mengao"
arrived a week ago in Quito for the clash with the local Independiente del Valle, in which they suffered a hard 5-0 defeat last Thursday for the third day of Group A.
With that defeat, the current Libertadores champion ranks second in Group A with 6 points, behind Independiente del Valle (9) and above the Colombian Junior (3) and Barcelona (0).
