MK Ofer Shelach (Yesh Atid-Telam) called today (Tuesday) to stop the demonstrations against the prime minister due to the increase in morbidity in Corona.

Shelach, who recently announced his intention to run for party leadership against Yair Lapid, is considered one of Netanyahu's most prominent opponents. "There is nothing more just than a protest against a corrupt and failed prime minister," Shelach tweeted on Twitter.

"And there is nothing more justified than stopping the mass demonstrations against him at this critical moment."

"Those who have the goal close to their hearts should say now: Stop until the end of the closure, continue in other ways."

There is nothing more just than a protest against a corrupt and failed prime minister.

And there is nothing more justified than stopping the mass demonstrations against him at this critical moment.

Whoever has the goal close to his heart should say now: Stop until the end of the closure, continue in other ways
